Hans Mann

Little is known about Hans Mann, a key figure in the Mann family history.

Records indicate he was born in 1666 at Reihen, a small village  near Siegelspach, Germany.

He later became a resident of Siegelspach, where he worked as a smith. Hans had at least two children, George Bernard and Catrin, both of whom participated in the wave of German  emigration to the United States in 1732.
